Baroque guitar
The original is kept in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford from where I have got the plans.
String length: 74 cm.

Vihuela
There are no originals instruments to copy. This model is based in diagrams contained in the diferent printed surces from this period (Spain S XVI) .
The string length is 58,4 cm to be tuned in G.

Theorbo
The bowl is made of curly maple and the dimensions are based on a Matteo Sellas (1630) medel. The string lengths are 74/154 cms. It has 14 single strings (7 on the fretboard and 7 bases).
In all the cases I try to use the kind of wood, glue and varnish used in the originals. I use as reference plans I purchase from Museums and try to follow the way of construction it has been employed.
